Everyday Women – The First Steps
A Day with Everyday Women
Would you call yourself courageous? Ordinary? Honest? These are the words that resonated most with six women we met on a bright spring day in Copenhagen. Each of them is part of Everyday Women—a project celebrating real women, their challenges, and their unique qualities. Every one of them is courageous in her own way.
Celebrating Real Women
At Zizzi, we believe that fashion should reflect reality. That’s why we launched Everyday Women—to ensure that plus-size women are seen, heard, and represented. Fashion should be inclusive, and normal should be celebrated.
"As a woman, I feel a responsibility to show that what I am—what we all are—is normal. Normal is beautiful, and it should be visible. That’s why I applied to Everyday Women. This is the first time I’ve seen a brand truly take responsibility through its customers."
— Andrea Bunod, 24, France
Listening, Learning, and Evolving
Everyday Women is more than a campaign—it’s a movement. We listen to real women and learn from their experiences at every step. From clothing design and fit adjustments to improving size guides and product images, we take feedback seriously. The Zizzi woman is not just a shopper or an Instagram follower; she is our partner, ambassador, and inspiration. We work together to create a plus-size fashion world that fits real women.
A Community That Inspires Change
Life is too short to blend in. Every woman is unique, and that’s something worth celebrating.
"Everyday Women is our contribution to a more authentic world—one that is closer to reality, where real women’s voices are heard. We stand together with you, challenging outdated standards and reshaping the narrative of normal."
Meeting the Women Behind Everyday Women
To embrace this mission, we invited six women to Copenhagen. They came from different countries—Austria, Norway, and Denmark. With ages ranging from 22 to 74, they had never met before, but they shared one thing in common: a belief that representation matters.
"We’re all different, and I want people to see that. We are all beautiful in our own way. My wish is for every woman to recognize her own beauty."
— Jasmin Mairhofer, 37, Austria
The Courage to Show Up
Imagine meeting up in a foreign city—with strangers, no less—without knowing what to expect. That takes courage. The women who joined us weren’t models; they were real, everyday women with stories to tell.
"I was nervous. I didn’t know what the other women would look like—if they would be models. But they were just normal, beautiful, kind women."
— Stina Vea, 28, Norway
Shaping the Future of Plus-Size Fashion
The women of Everyday Women—and many more to come—are shaping the future of plus-size fashion. Through open conversations and shared experiences, they help us refine designs, improve our fit, and ensure that curvy women feel confident in every piece we create.
Representation matters. It’s important to see models with real curves wearing the clothes we buy. It’s essential to have trousers on store shelves that fit well. Everyday Women is about creating fashion for real women—cool, open-hearted, reserved, honest, vulnerable, strong, or a bit of everything.
